How to persuade other effectively

This is one of my favourite books which i always like to bring along. I read when i have free time in between selling appointments.

Selling, by itseft is an art plus science. Not only you need to know why people buy(products or ervices) but also how they make the buying decisions. Salespersons are thought that selling is a number game the more people you see the better the change you get. But in reality, it is partially true without considering one's selling skills which is one of the most critical parts ; how to persuade other to your way of thinking- your desired outcome.

According to the author:
"in order to understand how to influence others you need to understand how people make decision, how they remember the past and how they see the future. This is what has been missing for many and what makes persuasion a 'number game' for most."

This book shows how persuasion tricks that convince other without them knowing;the persuasion process subtly take place which pass through the reasoning mind which makes the other person you wish to persuade less defensive.

It's a vital skill for everyone.

Book's name-Covert persuasion

Questions are the answer

I believe in order to have the desired results of what I want- in business , asking good

Sometimes, questioning does not mean you would get the the perfect answers but it improves our focus in every areas of our life.

These are the questions i often ask myself :

>Do i plan for the following weeks?

>Do i clear about my selling objective each time i sell?

>Do i have enough prospects to see?

>What am i doing right now is towards/away from my business goals?

>How do i feel right now, negative or positive?

>Am i working smart?

> am i the only person to do the jogs, who else can i delegate ?

>Am i talking to the right person?

>Do i listen enough?

>How can i improve my selling skill next time?

>Do i have a good attitude towards selling?

> Who are the right person to seek advice when facing obsticles?

>Do i review regularly my sales performance?

>Do i prepared enough?

>Am i able to say No? when face with time-stealer!

>am i practicing what i preach?

The Attractor factor-"dreams attractor"

A book by Joe Vitale. "The Attractor Factor"http://mrfire.com .

It's pretty unusual methods of achieving the things you want in life which begin with the concept of total personal responsibility.

"the hardest concept for most people to grasp is that they are the sole reason they are experiencing whatever they have in their lives, they are total responsible"

The missing secret component-Clarity

Being clear about what you want,do,or be which this I think is the missing component that a lot of books failed to emphasize!

This is the part that I like most which outline the easy steps to test on how clear are we on what we want by asking a few simple questions.

Time management

It's not an easy task for the person like me who need to manage the sales activities everyday. Time management is not just to" fill in the blank"!.It requires proper planning.

I have read quite alot on this subjet but not every methods are suitable for me.

From my personal experince, after trial and error ,there are few important areas need to pay attention of.

1>Prioritize-what really you want! List it in a sequence of importance.

2>Time stealer-"control it if not avoid it".

3>List-list things to do a week before.

4>Review the list- It's a good practice to start off the day .

5>Bring a small time planner along-easy to carry and always available in order to keep track/focus on daily activities.

6>Set objective-set the objective and time allocation of every meeting/appointments.

7>80/20 rule-we can't plan 100%. Be flexible, sometime interruption may occur. So adjust accordingly.

8>Question yourself always-ask question like " is it toward my goals?","what are the better ways to do?","can anybody else do the job?"Questions are the answer!.

9>Delegate-learn to trust other by delegating the tasks to other who can do the jobs.

10>Time block-to form the habit by doing the things you need to do at a certain time.

11>Use technogy-to save time by avoid doing things like paying bills, things that "urgent but but important".
